The Department of Placement and Training in Kottayam Institute of Technology & Science holds a group of dedicated and committed staff members under the leadership of a ‘Placement Officer’ whose primary objective is to mould the students in ways to meet the corporate expectation and to place them in reputed companies based on the expected job profile of each student. In pursuant of our dream to provide placement to all students, we have invited various companies to our campus. .

The main objective of our placement cell is to ensure that our students secure placements in reputed companies, organisations, and industries with suitable job profiles. The placement cell acts as an intermediary between prospective employers and students, bridging the gap between the two. Its primary objective is to fulfil the career aspirations of students and create a conducive academic environment for a successful transition from student life to professional life. The placement cell also enables the college to attract and retain students by creating a positive reputation for providing quality placements in various firms and industries. Apart from providing placement opportunities, the placement cell also provides career guidance and counseling to students to enable them to make informed career choices.
