Women Empowerment Cell

Women Empowerment Cell aims to empower girl students, to enhance understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for women students and faculty members.The cell always aims at creating awareness and also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves. The cell facilitates women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes and other welfare activities. The cell provides a conducive counseling environment for female gender to share their problems.

The objective of a Women Empowerment Cell is to promote gender equality by empowering and enabling women to participate fully in all aspects of life. The main goals of the cell include:
1) Creating awareness among women about their rights, entitlements, and opportunities.
2) Providing a platform for women to voice their concerns and issues.
3) Providing support to women who have faced gender-based discrimination or harassment.
4) Strengthening the participation of women in decision-making processes, both within and outside the organization.
5) Organizing workshops, seminars, and other events to build skills and confidence in women.
6) Encouraging women to take up leadership positions and providing training and mentoring to help them succeed.
7) Working towards creating a safe and harassment-free work environment.
8) Fostering a culture of inclusivity by promoting diversity and equality for all.
